The Millhouse Inn is a two-story, historic home located in a historic community. The house was built in 1843 by former Florida Governor Abraham Kurkindolle Allison. He served as the sixth Governor of Florida at the end of the American Civil War. The Inn was converted to a Bed and Breakfast in the 1960s.
The six-bedroom Inn, which is on the National Historic Register, is surrounded by more than 30 homes over 100 years old. The Historic District’s walking tour (complete with app!) attracts many people to the small town.
Within a few miles of the Millhouse Inn you can fish in Lake Talquin, hike through the Caverns at Mariana, visit the glorious Gadsden Art Museum (walking distance), swim at the beautiful St. Georges Island beach, or see a show at the Quincy Music Theater.
