Why is it important to have the best mortgage lender on your team? That’s a great question and we are happy to share with you our experience from 18 years of experience with hundreds of different lenders.
You may not have even thought about contacting a mortgage lender yet. After all…you are just starting to look around for your Florida home.
Before the crash of 2008 you may have been able to get away with looking around, deciding on the home that you like, and then going to your bank or lender and applying for a loan.
Now it is much more complicated and they are many more pitfalls and obstacles to overcome.
It’s for that reason that we strongly urge you to contact a lender that has been in the Florida Real estate market for years and knows exactly what it will take to get you qualified for your loan.
They will do a pre-qualification for you so that you know what you can afford to purchase, and you don’t experience any unpleasant surprises during your Florida Home purchase process.
We have 2 lenders that we refer to:
One for our foreign national loans,(buyers from another country)
One for our domestic buyers.
Both have proven themselves over and over again that they are head and shoulders above the rest.
Who are the rest?
Well…this might surprise you, but first on the list is the internet lenders. They promise you the world, but that can’t always deliver because they don’t have the local Florida experience that our lenders have.
The other is the big banks that you might have your savings or checking accounts with and you might even have been with them for 20 years or more.
This might be a real surprise to you, but our experience, time and time again, has been that the big banks are so arrogant and bureaucratic, that they can’t get out of their own way to get your loan successfully over the finish line.
They promise you the world up front and then drop you, sometimes the day before closing, because you suddenly don’t fit their program.
The reason that we stay with our 2 lenders is that they deliver. It’s as simple as that.
